On 25 September 2024, AHEAD participated in a dedicated webinar, R&D Session on “Powering the mobility of tomorrow,” showcasing cutting-edge technologies and projects exploring the future of energy innovation.

The webinar, hosted by project partner EDP NEW, opened with a presentation by AHEAD project coordinator, Samuele Grillo (POLIMI), on how AI is revolutionizing the design and planning of electrical grids to enable a massive penetration of EVs. The webinar then featured another AHEAD partner, Christian Thren from EASELINK who presented their automated charging solutions and activities in eTaxi project, the world’s largest pilot for automated charging  in Vienna and Graz and how such advancements can support the growing number of EVs. Lastly, the webinar  concluded with insights from TTSL Transtejo Softlusa on the future of heavy-duty passenger EVs, exploring their role in sustainable mobility.
